Oo-de-lally, Deviantites. I have been away for a while, at least from Journal-land. Since we last spoke, The Redeemers #3 team finished off issue three just in time for C2E2, and I was able to knock out a few other projects, mostly convention prints.
The Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo went pretty darn well for the Lonely Robot Comics crew. Team Silver Bullet

showcased pre-release copies of The Silver Bullet Trade Paperback Vol. 1 from Markosia, and nearly ran out of stock. Grapes'

table gave fans of The Infernal Fyre-Dragon a sneak peek at issue #3, and he of course showed up Brett and I with his sick skills

As for The Redeemers, Rampson and I happily debuted issue #3, "Fancult" to the excitement of a surprising number of existing fans! Several people sought us out specifically for a copy The Redeemers #3, and early feedback suggests that people are really enjoying it! I also had the chance to meet two of my favorite TMNT artists,

and

, who couldn't have been nicer or more tolerant to my fanboyism. Shoutout to

, too, who was our neighbor in Artists Alley.
Pre-production has already begun on The Redeemers #4. Rampson sent me the plot treatment for "Flame War" just this morning, and let me assure you, it's gonna be good. If you're reading this right now and you dug on Fancult, just know that you ain't seen nothin' yet. I've got a few new characters to design and a few new outfits for the existing ones to nail down, and actual page production should begin early next week. For now, Eric and I are trying something a little different, which will require me to thumbnail the entire book beforehand, not as I go along. So far, it's coming together really well! I'll keep you posted, and there'll be another Journal entry when Fancult hits the market on IndyPlanet.com!
Later!
